Maiko Hasuike

Designer born in Tokyo in 1938.

Graduated from university in Tokyo in 1962 and began a designing career at Seiko. Moved to MILAN in 1964 to begin collaboration with Rodolfo Bonetto. Opened a studio in Milan in 1968 and began collaborating with numerous agencies in the sector. Founded MH WAY in 1982 (a company which controls the product's entire cycle). Has earned various awards: Gold medals at the Compasso d'Oro awards, held every three years (especially that for the lasting collaboration with Ariston). The 'cucciolo' brush-holder for Gedy is displayed at Moma.
