Founded in 1949, CRISTINA rubinetterie has grown over the years to become one of the great leaders of the tapware industry, able to anticipate the trends of design and to propose innovative, beautiful, functional solutions attentive to the environment. The company - owned by the family Cristina di Gozzano (in Novara province) - is today firmly guided by Alberto and Francesca, who continue to write the history of this all Italian entrepreneurial success.
Cristina has two operating plants in Gozzano, Italy, one in Gargallo and the other in Fontaneto d'Agogna (No), covering an area of 35 thousand square meters and employing 250 people. CRISTINA rubinetterie is today, more than ever, proud of it’s made in Italy title. While its roots are in Italy, it is also decidedly focused abroad: the company currently distributes to 70 countries.

In its third generation, the Cristina family continues to believe in the value of innovation, continually investing in research and technological development, as well as in the aesthetic evolution of the product. The collaboration with international renowned design companies, among which Makio Hasuike & Co - that created the Esempio, Diario and Rubinetto series - confirms the great attention paid to the shape, as well as to the quality of the product. But there are many creative subjects that have enhanced the CRISTINA range of new series taps, from MC2 Architetti Associati studio for the King and Queen series, Studio dal Lago for Seltz, to Wilmotte & Industries for Modul.
Highly committed to the environmental protection and wellbeing, Cristina Rubinetterie focuses on low environmental impact throughout the production process as well as through the selection of high quality materials to ensure their dedication to personal health.
Particular attention is applied in manufacturing of ecological products, for water and electrical savings during usage. Sophisticated treatment plants ensure 100% of water is recycled and used for the chrome plating.
SMART COMPONENTS: PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
Particular attention is paid to the manufacturing of "Eco" products, to save water and energy during their use. For both domestic and commercial use, all of the items are equipped with mechanisms that reduce the water consumption. The Cristina products are equipped with special aerators that, adding air to the water flow, offer a reduced water rate in accordance with the water consumption laws, always having a satisfactory effect, granting the flow rate not depending on the water system pressure.
THE BEST RAW MATERIALS
The production uses brass alloy in accordance with strict international rules issued by the international approval institutes, including the non-metallic components (plastic components, rubbers gaskets, flexibles...) as well as the lubricant greases used for assembling.
The materials used for casting and forging the entire CRISTINA production are from brass ingots or bars with their respective certificates of origin, and are provided by the most prestigious European manufacturers.
The brass type used for the concealed part is the DZR one. The surface chrome coating, made with a nickel and chromo galvanic process, is responding to the specifications requested by the European rules; other tests are made internally (like the Salt Spray Test) ruled by international procedures.
The Gold-plating is made of several fine gold coating in 24 KT. The Special finishes, including Old brass, copper, silver, nickel are made in galvanic baths with a further high-resistance transparent protection.
The Cristina brand offers various guarantees, with regards to excellent product quality. The company's acquisition of quality certification in accordance with UNI EN ISO 9001 is of the utmost importance.
